A new species for my 'ringed' list. We arrived at Priory Country Park at 5.30am to put up the nets to catch a load of hedge sparrows (Dunnocks) but I also got to extract & ring a Garden Warbler! I'd never even seen one before last year & have only ever seen them in the hand. They're a bit chunkier than most of the other warbler species I usually see/ring. I must remember to take some more photos of me ringing (or of the birds - I think you might find them better to look at!).
I'll let you know about my activities later on it the week.
